Founded in 2005 by Michelle Wilson-Stimson, an award-winning ex-financial adviser and stockbroker, eParaplan Connect emerged as a trusted and reliable provider of administrative and paraplanning support for Financial Advisers nationwide. As we celebrate a decade of excellence, we reflect on our journey and look forward to the future, guided by a renewed focus on a higher level of excellence in client-servicing. With Shaunagh, Michelle’s daughter, joining the team in 2015 and excelling as the Operations Director, we have built a strong foundation to deliver expertly crafted support to our adviser clients.

The Journey to Success: Over the years, eParaplan Connect has grown organically, overcoming industry challenges and evolving alongside the financial advice profession. Our commitment to empowering financial advisers and promoting gender diversity, with Michelle at the helm, has set us apart in a male-dominated industry. One-Stop-Shop for Financial Advisers: From the beginning, our vision was to become a one-stop-shop for financial advisers, catering to their diverse needs with a bespoke solution.

We have offered an extensive range of services for wealth and mortgage advisers, including administration, paraplanning, design, HR, consultancy, income reconciliation, RMAR reporting, virtual office services, PO box services, and phone answering services.

Yes we really did everything that an adviser would otherwise have to do either themselves or with an in-house team – this is not our first rodeo in doing it all! Most of our advisers are not tick box transactional advisers. They are true professional life planners who thrive in delivering phenomenal service to their clients as well as having the time to grow their business and bring in new clients. As we celebrate the momentous 10th anniversary of eParaplan Connect, I can’t help but feel a delightful mix of excitement and gratitude. It’s been quite the journey, and I must say, we’ve tackled challenges with the grace of a gazelle and the tenacity of a terrier.

Who would have thought that a female-run business in a male-dominated industry could thrive and grow like a mighty oak? Well, I did! From my days as a Financial Adviser to steering this ship, we’ve come a long way. And let’s not forget my brilliant daughter, Shaunagh, who swooped in like a financial superhero, designing processes that make our heads spin in awe.

But it’s not just us; our entire team has been the secret sauce to our success. They’ve been the beating heart, delivering excellent results with customer-focused magic. We couldn’t have done it without them, truly.

As we embark on the next 10 years, we’re poised to take on the future with AI in our corner. Our minds may be buzzing with algorithms and possibilities, but rest assured, the human touch will remain as warm and welcoming as ever.
