Trainee Technical Analyst

Essential criteria for application to trainee scheme:

 – GCSE (or equivalent) A or B in English and A – C in Maths

Desirable criteria for application to trainee scheme:

 – A Level (or equivalent) in English and Maths or – Higher Education Degree (HND or above)

All trainee positions are based upon a 6 month probationary period, and confirmation of successful probationary period will be based upon:

  • Satisfactory references
  • Right to work documentation

During your probationary period you will be provided with the support and resource required to settle into the team. Initial 6 months: Probationary period, making sure you are happy with the team and settle in well. Following this period, we will set you a personalised study plan to get you qualified in 2-3 years. Starting salary £16,500.

On completion of the following exams your salary will then increase accordingly:

  1. R01  £17,500

  2. R02  £18,500

  3. R03  £19,500

  4. R04  £20,500

  5. R05  £21,500

  6. R06  £22,500

The qualifications set out within this trainee scheme are self-study. However, eparaplan will provide study material and support so you stay on track of your study plan. The majority of the study time will be in your own time however, eparaplan will also give you some study time within your working hours. All of this will be discussed and mapped out in your own personalised study plan.

A study pack will be provided, this includes study manuals, study cards, exam questions and notepads. The qualification you’ll be working towards is the CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. R01-R05 are multiple choice exams and R06 is a written exam.

Following on from the completion of your qualification, dependent on your performance and targets over the following 12 months you will have the opportunity for your salary to increase up to £25,000.

From here you will still have the opportunity to progress into senior or management roles within the company.

Being part of our trainee scheme as either a Technical Administrator or Paraplanner is an exciting opportunity to create a rewarding career. eparaplan are committed to supporting you by providing a great starting salary, incremental increases based on progression as well as time to support your studies.

All trainee roles will be subject to a training level agreement being agreed whereby all training and qualifications will be provided by eparaplan at no cost to you as trainee, however should you decide to leave employment either during or after you have finished the trainee scheme, repayment to eparaplan will be due on the following scale:

  • Whilst in study and within 12 months of qualifying – 100% repayment cost
  • Within 12 months to 2 years of qualifying – 50% repayment cost
  • 3 years plus – no repayment
